DiVa for Vaginal Rejuvenation
What’s DiVa and How Does This Work?
DiVa uses Hybrid Fractional Laser Technology, which provides levels of density, in addition to levels of clotting, allowing the treatment to be customized to the patient’s needs. The therapy wand is a single-use dilator made from strengthened quartz with a quartz tip that remains stationary to flatten and to enlarge the tissue, and as the hand piece is rotated through the treatment area, pulses are delivered to ensure laser efficiency. The single-use dilator eliminates the need to wash the hand piece, lessening the danger of contamination. We recommend each individual wait 1 to 1 and a half months between their treatments, so complete results are known before the next treatment.
What Exactly Does DiVa Help Treat?
Stress incontinence is a common complaint among women. Women tend to avoid exercise and other tasks in order to avoid being embarrassed or placed in an uncomfortable position. After just one DiVa treatment, patients will experience better urinary control. Within just two or three treatments, incontinence can be solved.
Another reason for needing the treatment, is childbirth. Childbirth stretches the vaginal canal, and the tissue becomes damaged. This stretching damages the perineum, vaginal walls, and surrounding tissue, leading to diminished vaginal health and function.
Menopause, hysterectomy, or chemotherapy, may also lead to inflammation, drying and thinning of the vaginal walls, which makes sex and even daily tasks uncomfortable. After getting DiVa Vaginal Rejuvenation, many women see a great improvement in their symptoms.
